This limited release is made from low yield and hand picked fruit to produce a premium wine with intense colour, flavour, structure and regional characters. It is a celebration of four intriguing varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon 35%, Shiraz 32%, Sangiovese 23% and Petit Verdot 10%. All four wines were made and aged in Oak barrels separately and blended before bottling.
This wine exudes a delightful array of aromas from red cherry, strawberry to black pepper, spearmint and liquorice.
The palate is supple and bright, leading with sweet red plum, red berries and raspberry cream. The Petit Verdot component adds to the blend, intense dark fruit aromas of fresh blackberry, fresh strawberry and black cherry.
It has been aged for 24 months in new and used French barriques, providing further complexity and fine tannins with cedar and vanilla on the nose and a lingering smooth finish.
The wine will continue to improve over the next 5 to 10 years.
