This limited release is made from low yield and hand picked fruit to produce a premium wine with intense colour, flavour, structure and regional characters. It is a celebration of four intriguing Blend: 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Shiraz, 23% Petit Verdot and 8% Sangiovese. All four wines were made and aged in Oak barrels separately and blended before bottling.
This wine exudes a delightful array of aromas from red cherry, strawberry to black pepper, spearmint and liquorice.
The palate is supple and bright, leading with sweet red plum, red berries and raspberry cream. The Petit Verdot component adds to the blend, intense dark fruit aromas of fresh blackberry, fresh strawberry and black cherry.
It has been aged for 15 months in new and used French barriques, providing further complexity and fine tannins with cedar and vanilla on the nose and a lingering smooth finish.
The wine will continue to improve over the next 5 to 10 years.
